The National Portrait Gallery holds engtaved prints after his originals, One of these is the quirky WILLIAM FITTOCK MAYOR OF ST MAWES. In this picture ( a print was sold by the Lander Gallery) the subject has a view of the coastline behind him which suggests that the artist must have visited Cornwall.
A modern label named the sitter as JOANNA POYNTZ married Sir James Dance Bt, painted in Jamaica c 1770.
